Always wanted to enjoy pizza without regreting it later!? Your moment is now. Just make a pizza crust out of cauliflower and whole wheat flour with the recipe below.
Cauliflower is not only low in calories, it has multiple other health benefits. Cauliflower is a cruciferous veggie that's high in fibers, B-vitamins and full of antioxidants. It's full of the antioxidant sulforaphane. This plant compound reduces the inflammatory damage done by oxidative stress which is often the cause for developing heart disease.
I'm not saying eating this pizza will fix that problem, but it is a much more healthy and less risky way of enjoying this delicious dish.
What you need:
800 grams of cauliflower rice.
200 grams of whole wheat flour.
2 eggs.
a pinch of salt.
a table spoon of garlic powder.
2 tea spoons of dried yeast.

Directions:
Spread out the cauliflower rice on a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes on 150 degrees celsius. This dries out the cauliflower and that makes it easier to form the dough.
Add the dried yeast to a bit of luke warm water and mix carefully with your fingers.
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl together until it forms a sticky dough. Let this stand for about 20-30 minutes.
In the meantime you can spread out some whole wheat flour on a new baking sheet. We are going to form the dough into a pizza crust on this and adding more wholewheat flour on the bottom of the baking sheet will prevent the dough from sticking.
Once the dough is ready just add it to the baking sheet. I always like to add some wholewheat flour on top as well. This makes it many times easier to form the crust. Without the flour on top the dough will be too sticky.
When you have spread out the dough and formed a nice big pizza crust we need to pre bake it for 20 minutes on a 180 degrees celsius.
Let is cool down for a bit and your crust is ready for toppings. Bake for another 20-25 minutes with toppings and enjoy your guilt free pizza!
Tip 1: Instead of adding a lot of mozzarela you can also just add tiny chunks of feta. You still have a cheesy pizza but with a lot less calories.
Tip 2: This makes a rather large plate pizza. You can easily make 2-3 different pizzas with this amount of dough.
